Our new unit theme is "Home and Heritage".  We will have two guiding principles as we read and discuss various literature selections that relate to this theme.  The first principle is that your home and heritage affect your perspective (your outlook on life, the way you view the world).  The second principle is that understanding your home and heritage helps you to understand yourself better.  For this first assignment, share your own ideas about how your home and heritage has affected your life so far.  Discuss your family's heritage.  Tell about where you are from, what customs/traditions your family has, or anything else related to your home and heritage.
